The Secret Classroom Review
November 24, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment
The Secret Classroom is a who’s who of the current internet marketing guru’s. It was originally an online web based reality show type format known as The Next Internet Millionaire. It reminded me of one of those cable tv shows like the next great chef. The winner, Jaime Luchuck, has gone on and had success. The ringleader was Joel Comm, who made his fortune selling his game website to Yahoo in what now is known as Yahoo games. He also is known as the Google adsense guru and is well respected in internet marketing circles. We’ll talk more about Joel later as he has other programs he promotes in today’s internet world.
The Next Internet Millionaire was interesting to watch but fell a little short of my expectations in “revealing” any ground breaking secrets. I soon realized that what was this was groundwork being laid for The Secret Classoom program which consist twelve DVDs, each containing a separate presentation on internet marketing and online business building. It didn’t take long after the Internet Millionaire show to launch what is now The Secret Classroom. I knew with all of the guru’s doing a tell all in “secret” rooms, I had to purchase this program to see what was not being shown in the show. It promised insider information from some of the most respected marketers in the business. When you hear the names Perry Marshall, Mark Joyner, Jeff Walker, Brad Fallon and Mike Filsaime, you have to listen right? These guys charge high fees to speak so you know Joel was going to package this and market it. Plus the fact that you were going to get approximately two hours of these guys revealing their techniques and strategies made this a no brainer for me.
So the big question is: Do I recommend The secret order?
In the sales letter it says if you bought this separately, it would cost you $20,000.00. I don’t believe I would spend that much on it. The original launch price was $1997.00. Again, I’m not going to spend that kind of money unless I am in the same room with them at a seminar. It came down to $297.00. with the pitch it was soon going to be pulled off the market, I jumped on it.
The answer is yes, I think it's worth the price I had paid. However, the good news for you if you are interested in purchasing the program, $ 97.00 reduced. This is an excellent price for almost twenty-four hours of video from some of the most popular Internet providers in the area today. Some speakers, especially Mike Filsaime, Perry Marshall, Marlon Sanders, Mike Koenigs Rich Schefren and were perfectly formed. Too bad they could not convince Frank Kern and Chris Carpenter to come away from the beach long enough to be a part of it.
Here is the really good news. If you are really interested in this product and I believe every marketer would be, you can get it here today for only $47.00. I don’t know how long it will be available at this price or when it may be pulled from the market. Usually, the guru’s will pull their products when they are coming up on a new product to launch. So I would personally grab it while I could before it’s too late.

Exactly How To Accomplish Directory Distribution and What It Usually Means
April 23, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment
Applying to world-wide-web websites is one of the most straightforward ways to build links to your websites, however such a practice is not without problems, there is a prevalence of small article directories and directory operators who mainly exist to swindle you. For instance a directory operator may constantly launch new internet directories, focusing all the PageRank they have on the new ones, to make it look like an attractive submission, then eventually they may get banned for manipulating PR etc, or submissions dwindle, and they open a new one, forsaking the old one. Meaning, that nice listing you paid for, quickly evaporates.
Directories alone also cannot be your only linking endeavor, you need other types of links as well, that being said, here three of the most important and powerful web-sites on the web:
DMOZ.org, the poorly managed free website. It can take many weeks or years to get in, and then a competitor who is a directory site editor can just remove your listing or not approve it to begin with. There have been examples where even higher up Open Directory Project editors (so-called meta editors) were corrupt in this way. Still, every new site should be submitted. You just cannot count on it.
Yahoo, the premier pay directory website, has vastly dropped in importance due to Yahoos own decisions to devalue and de-emphasize their list in their search results and throughout their site. Meaning less and less traffic browses their list than what used to. They also ask for a yearly fee, not a one-time fee, of $300 a year. So, in order to submit to them you need make sure you will earn at least $300 a year directly off the traffic & link benefits you gain from the listing listing. In general I consider listings for sites whom I think can be rewarded with an increase of at least $10 a day through higher traffic. I know, an actual positive ROI would be around $1 a day, but there are other methods for raising traffic than a Yahoo submission, that would give a much better return on investment, so the gains in my mind have to be substantial to justify it.
Best of the Web, what I consider the last of the great tier directories, has the benefit of being very similar to Yahoo, but better in that they have one time fee submission options. With a one time fee submission you have 5 years, 10 years, to make up the cost, it is much easier to justify than Yahoos yearly fee (BOTW also has a yearly fee option). Best of the Web has been around nearly as long as Yahoo as well, and throughout the list PRs are very close. They have less traffic than Yahoo of course, but they are much cheaper too.
Building links is as much about your webpages reputation as your sites rankings, and I think being discriminating in your submissions is a good thing and will help make sure you do not over do things and trip any present or future filter or penalty.
Another brilliant place to submit your site is my own small catalog web site (requires recriprocal link): Publish your site.
Do Outgoing Links Improve Link Popularity? present by top10optimizer.com

Outgoing links refers to links pointing to other sites from your webpages.
This issue of whether outgoing links contribute to link popularity is a hotly
debated issue amongst the search engine optimization community.
The fact is, outgoing links do dilute the Google PageRank rating carried over to
other pages by the rest of the links on the page.
Some SEO experts may not agree with me on this next point, but that?s OK.
I also believe that linking to other relevant websites can also help your search
engine rankings, although it may not specifically help your link popularity as
such. Let me give you an example of why I believe this.
1. Find a subcategory within the Yahoo! Directory. http://dir.yahoo.com
2. Search for the topic of that particular subcategory in a search engine such
as Google. You are more than likely to find the Yahoo! Directory category page
listed amongst the top 30 search results.
Here are some examples:
Search Term: "communications and networking"
Google Search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=communications+and+networking
Ranking: #1
Yahoo! Directory Category:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Computers_and_Internet/Communications_and_Networking/
Search Term: "computer generated art"
Google Search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=computer+generated+art
Ranking: #1
Yahoo! Directory Category:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Arts/Visual_Arts/Computer_Generated/
Search Term: " computer generated music"
Google Search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=computer+generated+music
Ranking: #1
Yahoo! Directory Category:
http://dir.yahoo.com/Entertainment/Music/Computer_Generated/
As you can clearly see, Yahoo! does not offer any substantial content for those
particular topics. It merely offers links to relevant websites. Yet many of its
web directory pages are considered as relevant pages for the search queries
listed.
Is this a fluke? Is this limited to Google, because of its relationship with
Yahoo?
I doubt it very much. Conduct the same search on other major search engines and
you will find the same pages listed amongst the top ranked search results in
those engines as well.
Some astute search engine optimizers have already gotten onto this fact and have
designed links pages to take advantage of this. I have actually landed on these
links pages as a result of a clicking through a top ranked Google listing.
well, you can make conclusion from this.
